Join TopoDOT as a MarComs Intern to bridge the gap between technical innovation and creative storytelling. This Winter Garden-based role offers hands-on experience in managing a global digital asset system, collaborating with agency partners, and driving platform-specific content strategy for a leading industry brand.
Internship
On-Site Winter Garden
Starting at $20/hr
Junior/Senior Level in Marketing, Communications or related degree; Proficiency with creative design and video editing tools; Strong strategic messaging skills
The purpose of this internship is to provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced marketing and communications environment. You will assist with day-to-day operations and high-impact projects designed to sharpen your skills while supporting TopoDOT’s global brand presence.
This internship takes place during the Summer 2026 semester. Expected commitment is 10 hours per week, with pay starting at $20/hr (based on experience).
Digital Asset Management (DAM) & Content Strategy: Leverage our DAM system, ResourceSpace, to manage TopoDOT’s extensive media library. This role goes beyond organization; you will be responsible for creating and cataloging new materials, performing content audits to identify "gaps" in our current assets, and ensuring our broader team (beyond MarComs) has seamless visibility and access to the tools they need.
Elevated Social Media Content Creation: TopoDOT maintains a 5-post-per-week schedule. While our agency partner handles a portion of these, you will lead the creation of two high-impact posts per week. Your focus will be on elevating our brand through platform-specific content, particularly on Instagram and TikTok, while ensuring a cohesive brand voice alongside our agency’s efforts.
Analytics & Performance Reporting: Social media is only as effective as its results. You will manage and report on social media analytics to determine performance across all channels. A key project will involve maintaining and updating an analytics dashboard to share performance insights with stakeholders.
Conference & Event Preparation: Ensure TopoDOT is "show-ready" for upcoming industry conferences. This includes organizing required digital assets, ensuring uniform brand imagery across event websites, and coordinating communication materials that drive lead generation.
Website Content & Copy Optimization: Assist in keeping the TopoDOT website current as our goals and industry positioning evolve. This involves updating graphics, logos, and web copy to ensure our digital front door accurately reflects our latest innovations and brand identity.
Academic Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, with at least 2 years of relevant coursework completed.
Creative Toolset: Proficiency with creative design and video editing tools. Experience with Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is required; experience with DaVinci Resolve or similar video editing software is a major plus.
Strategic Messaging: Strong "technical storytelling" skills—the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and brand-consistent copy for various audiences.
Social Media Savvy: A deep understanding of current trends and best practices for Instagram and TikTok, specifically how to adapt professional B2B content for a younger, high-energy audience.
Location: Must be local to the Winter Garden, FL area and able to commute to the office regularly for in-person collaboration and project meetings.
